The Springer Scholarship, established by Doug Springer, a 2021 Maine Swimming and Diving HOF inductee, recognizes a Maine high school senior swimmer or diver who has demonstrated dedication and service to his or her team, school, and community.
Cohen, the Maine interscholastic record holder in the 100 yard breaststroke and a 2023 National Interscholastic Swim Coaches Association All American, will continue her education and education and swimming at Penn State University in the fall.
Windham High swim coach Pete Small said,
"Hannah is one of the fiercest competitors and intense workout performers. She is consistently challenging herself and her teammates, in a very uplifting, encouraging manner."

Heansler donated over 100 hours of community service during her high school career.
Small and Lee Crocker, President of the Maine Swimming and Diving Hall of Fame, announced Heansler's selection at Windham High's recognition event held in June. Heansler will attend the University of North Carolina at Wilmington in the fall.
